Tasar, Whisker pole end – Spring loaded

This whisker pole end is designed for a 1″ / 25mm diameter tube. Due to the ribbing in its construction it can  be relatively easily shaped to fit a 1″ diameter tube with either a 16 SWG or a 18SWG wall thickness.

Aluminium tube with a wall thickness of 16SWG is easier to source but 18SWG is better for a Tasar whisker pole because its lighter weight makes the pole slightly more manageable.

Sail and Sport can supply either complete poles or 1″ diameter 18SWG cut to length.

Tasar class rules specify the maximum over all length of the whisker pole & that it may not be of carbon fibre.
