Lower mast collar – Pico & Funboat
Pico – On the Pico this fitting is used in three places.
1) Its purpose is to hold the boom in place. It is attached to the lower mast by rivets at the gooseneck.
2) Its purpose is to hold the mast in place at deck level & reduce wear. It is attached to the lower mast by rivets at the mast gate.
3) Its purpose is to locate the mast & reduce wear. It is attached at the bottom of the lower mast by rivets at the step.
Funboat – On the Funboat this fitting is used once.
1) Its purpose is to hold the boom in place. It is attached to the lower mast by rivets at the gooseneck.
