Rudder retaining “R” clip – Laser & Vago

These “R” clips are made of 2.7mm diameter stainless steel rod & locates positively in the 3mm cross drilled hole through many pintals.

It is a little more expensive than a split ring but does a similar job whilst being much more convenient.

It locates without undue fiddle making it easy to put on after lunching & easy to remove before returning ashore.

It requires a short lanyard & 3mm shock cord works well.
