“OneDrop” – Ball bearing conditioner (Harken / McLube)
Only one drop of this new conditioner will repel salt, dirt and other deposits to protect, lubricate and condition the bearing surfaces. Reduced friction allows balls to roll freely and evenly, greatly improving traveler, block & cleat performance.
More than one drop might be required but the point is it should be used sparingly.
i.e. Best to wash out the block first, dry & then use only enough to lubricate the block or cleat so it does not run out & lubricate the deck!
NB – Proper maintenance increases efficiency & extends the life of the block or cleat.
